In contrast, a return of a Republican leadership, represented by figures like former President Trump, could mean an increase in protectionist measures. This scenario might include universal taxes impacting EU imports and heightened tariffs on goods from China, altering trade dynamics significantly.
Among these potential shifts, the question arises: can the EU assert leadership in this partnership?
